Rick Saucedo

Rick Saucedo

Rick Saucedo began his singing career in 1972 at the age of seventeen.  At this time he and his band, "The Ambassadors" worked nightly at many local clubs and lounges.  As people began to take notice of this young talented "Elvis impersonator" he was approached by larger venues.  In 1977 Rick performed at the Cabaret in Winnipeg, Canada.  From there he was asked to star in the Broadway play; "The Legend Lives On" in 1978.  He performed six nights a week for five months, never using a stand-in.  He helped arrange the music for the title song, "The Legend Lives On".  Elvis' background vocal group, the Jordanaires accompanied Rick in the play, as well as D.J. Fontana, Elvis' drummer.  In 1979 Rick played the Stardust in Las Vegas, again accompanied by the Jordanaires and D.J. Fontana.

In 1998 Rick performed as a solo act at the Alahambra Theatre in Aruba.  He played nightly to a full house for a month. Upon his return to the states, Rick began performing with "tracks".  Most clubs and dinner houses request the track shows.  His audience appreciates Rick's close interaction with them.  For larger venues and festivals Rick performs with a live band.

Music came naturally to Rick in many forms.  As well as singing, Rick mastered guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, sitar and more.  This talent led him to song writing.  To date he has written countless songs and produced ten cd's.  His 1978 album, "Heaven Was Blue" all original music is now a rare collector's album and is sought after worldwide.

"Memphis, I'm Coming Home" was written in 1998.  This cd is now in its' second printing.  The Jordanaires sing background on several songs.  Their voices and Rick's writing style gives this cd a heavy Elvis feel.

"History Making, Country Shaking" is the newest cd written by Rick, released in 2006.  This time "The Ambassadors" joined him in the studio.

Fans enjoy the balance between Rick's impeccable Elvis style as well as his own original talent he incorporates into his shows.

In 2002, Rick sang the National Anthem for the Chicago White Sox.

His creative talents have not gone unnoticed.  He was voted "Best Male Entertainer" in the readers' poll of the Suburban Nitelife Magazine in 2001.  In 2003 he was awarded "Best Solo Performer", again by the readers of Suburban Nitelife Magazine.  Rick was again voted "Best Solo Performer" by Suburban Nitelife Magazine for 2006.

Rick stays busy writing, recording and performing over one hundred shows a year for clubs, privates, theatres and festivals.
Doug Church

Doug Church

Doug Church began his Elvis career in the U.S. Air Force in 1983 while competing against hundreds of other contestants and winning annual talent contests.  Starting at the base level and proceeding through to the regional levels, he defeated the best entertainers from many bases in the European and U.S. Air Force commands.  In four years, he collected 11 first place trophies for his well-developed likeness to Elvis, as well as other categories ranging from best male vocalist to best comedic performance.

After leaving the Air Force in 1987, Doug continued his act around the Midwest.  In 1990, he competed in the fourth annual Worldwide Elvis Impersonator Contest in Memphis, Tennessee against Elvis entertainers from all over the world.  He took home the second place prize for only his first time in this competition.  The following year, Doug returned to Memphis to capture the first place crown as "The World’s Best Elvis Impersonator."  In 1993, after a successful audition with Legends In Concert (a musical entertainer venue based in Las Vegas, Nevada) he started touring the country and the world.  Doug has performed in such exotic locations as: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Aruba, The Bahamas, Moscow, France, The United Kingdom, and Denmark.

In 1999, Doug starred in and performed soundtrack vocals for the award winning documentary film "Almost Elvis."  Doug still works with Legends in Concert from time to time, but prefers to freelance and do the shows that won him acclaim throughout the Midwest.  It may be hard to imagine how anyone could possibly duplicate 70 different voice personalities with perfection, but Doug Church can!  He has awed his audiences for 19 years, leaving them totally mesmerized and shaken- by one of those voices in particular- that of Elvis Presley!  Doug’s voice has been acknowledged by his peers as being the closest to "The King’s."

His career is going stronger than ever, with his fans keeping him pretty busy entertaining from Vegas through the Midwest, and now to the East Coast.  His recording career is sky rocketing with the release of new albums.

His future parallels a shooting star on the horizon of success.  He is, and will forever remain, a hot commodity.  All over the world people have closed their eyes and been rapt with Doug Church.

***May it please be noted that Doug Church prefers to be recognized as an "Elvis Tribute Artist", rather than an "impersonator."  Though the distinction may not seem grand, Doug performs each and every show as a tribute out of respect for "The King," not to imitate or impersonate the greatest legend of all time.  Thank you for your understanding!***
